About The Position

IBM is seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance / S/4HANA Finance Architect to lead finance transformation, architecture, integration, and enterprise implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of SAP Finance experience, strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance, and a proven record of leading complex global SAP Finance transformation programs. The candidate will be responsible for architecture ownership, finance process redesign, integration strategy, implementation leadership, and engagement with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP Finance architecture for enterprise transformation programs.
Design SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance solutions.
Define scalable and integrated finance architecture.
Provide architectural guidance across finance applications and integrations.
Lead S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives.
Assess existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support migration from legacy SAP environments to S/4HANA.
Define target-state finance processes and architecture.
Analyze and redesign finance and accounting processes.
Align SAP solutions with business and accounting requirements.
Support standardization of finance processes across global organizations.
Own architecture and integration design between SAP Finance and other enterprise systems.
Define integration patterns, interfaces, and data flows.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure reliable end-to-end integration.
Support or lead SAP Finance deployments across multiple countries and business units.
Ensure global template alignment while addressing local requirements.
Coordinate with business and technical teams during rollout activities.
Work directly with senior business and technology stakeholders.
Present architecture recommendations and transformation strategies.
Lead discussions with finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
