About The Position

The SAP Finance position will be part of the Digital Technology Financial Applications organization at Collins Aerospace and recognized as IT professional with good hands-on experience in SAP FI functionality, configuration with knowledge and technical expertise in business and technical applications who analyzes and determines how to fulfill business IT needs. Analyzes system capabilities and configures and resolves system functionality issues. This is a hybrid position, at one of Collins major facilities.

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.
Experience in SAP Finance module configuration
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers, peers, and team member.
Ability to travel 10% in accordance with the Collins/RTX company policy.

Nice To Haves

Experience in configuration in the following areas: General ledger, Accounts Payable, e-banking automation,
Production support experience.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, Analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for analyzing financial data resolving complex issues.
Familiarity with SAP integrated tools and bolt on, such as Concur, One Source, OCR, financial consolidation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support Banking / Treasury/Automated payment program configuration and Interface support.
Work with other SAP cross-functional groups to complete production enhancement projects.
Support SAP Finance implementation. This involves activities like configuring SAP Finance modules, conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing end user support.
Support break/Fix tickets and questions from the business in the following area, SAP, Banking, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Banking
Support various SAP finance interfaces such as Concur, Hyperion, tax
Work with the ABAP development and interface teams to resolve system functionality issues.
Identify and work system operation improvements, translate business requirements into SAP configurations and processes.
Work with SAP Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management Groups to manage and document the digital technology solutions.
