About The Position
This role requires a seasoned SAP FICO functional consultant with 5-10 years of experience, specializing in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules. The consultant will be involved in gathering business requirements, creating conceptual and detailed designs, performing SAP configurations, writing specifications for custom programs, testing, coordinating transports, and providing post-go-live support. The position is for a contract of 12+ months, located onsite in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX. A strong understanding of accounting concepts is essential, and prior experience in high-tech or software industries is preferred.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of SAP FICO functional experience
- 5-10 years of SAP FI experience specializing in design and configuration
- Experience with 2-3 full SAP FI implementations
- Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts
- Experience gathering business requirements and preparing conceptual/detailed designs
- Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, testing, transports, and post-go-live support
- Experience writing detailed specifications for custom program development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation creation and delivery skills
- Bachelor's degree and postgraduate degree (MBA / CA)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in high-tech or software industries
- RAR experience (1-2 years)
