About The Position

The Division of Enterprise Applications (DEA) seeks an experienced consultant with expertise in SAP S4 HANA, specifically within Public Sector Finance and Treasury modules to support implementation, optimization and operational readiness initiatives. The consultant will provide strategic guidance, process documentation, functional expertise, testing leadership and knowledge transfer. Responsibilities will include administration of SAP FI and Treasury functionality to include ancillary applications utilized by the state, and providing services related to process design, development, testing and on-going maintenance of enterprise-wide software. The role involves developing current state and future-state process documentation in DEA's documentation management process format, and providing best-practice recommendations for public sector financial and treasury operations. The consultant will develop documentation adhering to DEA team standards, create comprehensive current-state documentation for Finance & Treasury functions, and create future-state documentation reflecting changes required for the SAP platform upgrade. They will partner with team leaders, business process owners, and DEA leadership to validate and approve documentation, and collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of SAP software programs and applications. The role provides SAP Finance and Treasury support including analysis, development, testing, tracking and resolution, demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization, and exhibits a high level of communication skills, verbal and written. The consultant will mentor less experienced team members on SAP programming concepts and tool suite, and participate in team activities and team planning. Additionally, they will assist with upgrades, support packs, and the development of test plans to validate solutions and components, assist with defining hardware specifications and the current SCEIS landscape as required for addition functionality being implemented, and assist with creation of a high-level implementation roadmap for the above solutions. The role requires identifying impacts from ECC to S4 HANA changes related to Finance and Treasury, performing unit test development and execution, including test script development, and providing after-hours support for the SAP system as needed.

Requirements

7+ years of experience with SAP Finance or Treasury/Cash Management experience
3+ years of experience with SAP S4 HANA
7+ years of experience with ECC FI module experience
10+ years of experience with practical SAP upgrades, OSS notes, support packs and troubleshooting
10+ years of experience of SAP within the Public Sector
7+ Years of experience in budgeting, appropriations, grants, and governmental accounting
