About The Position

Syntax is seeking an SAP EWM Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management solutions within complex enterprise environments. This role partners closely with business and technical teams to translate warehouse and supply chain requirements into effective SAP solutions that improve operational efficiency, visibility, and control. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP EWM experience, a consultative mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions that support client transformation goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP consulting, with a strong focus on SAP EWM.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and warehouse process design.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and logistics execution.
  • Experience supporting full project lifecycles, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into practical SAP solutions.
  • Experience working with integrated SAP environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Experience documenting processes, issues, and solutions clearly and accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with S/4HANA and embedded SAP EWM.
  • Knowledge of SAP TM, MM, SD, or other supply chain modules.
  • Prior experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles.
  • Experience with warehouse automation technologies, RF devices, or material handling integrations.
  • Exposure to testing tools, release management, and change management practices.
  • An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support SAP EWM solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Gather and analyze warehouse, logistics, and supply chain requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into scalable SAP EWM functional designs and system configurations.
  • Support integration with related SAP and non-SAP systems, including ERP, TM, MM, SD, and third-party logistics tools.
  • Participate in blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, testing, cutover, and go-live support activities.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment, delivery quality, and user adoption.
  • Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes and SAP system performance.
  • Provide client-facing guidance and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
