About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP Digital Payments Consultant position for our client. This role involves leading SAP S/4HANA Digital Payments design and implementation, configuring scenarios, integrating with payment service providers, and designing end-to-end payment flows. The consultant will architect secure payment solutions, collaborate with integration teams, ensure accurate FI-AR posting and reconciliation, define and execute test strategies, support go-live activities, and develop documentation and training materials.

Requirements

SAP S/4HANA Finance with strong expertise in SAP Digital Payments.
Payment processing and payment provider integration experience.
Strong understanding of FI-AR and order-to-cash payment flows.
Experience with APIs, middleware integration, and system connectivity.
Knowledge of PCI compliance, tokenization, and secure payment architectures.
Strong troubleshooting, testing, and production support skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with enterprise payment platforms and multi-provider environments.
Experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations and production hypercare.
SAP S/4HANA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP S/4HANA Digital Payments design and implementation for credit card and alternative payment processing.
Configure SAP Digital Payments scenarios and integrate with payment service providers (certificates, endpoints, and connectivity settings).
Design and implement end-to-end payment flows including authorization, capture, partial capture, refunds, voids, chargebacks, and reversals.
Architect secure payment solutions including tokenization and PCI scope minimization using vault/token providers.
Collaborate with integration teams to support APIs, middleware connectivity, error handling, and monitoring frameworks.
Ensure accurate FI-AR posting, clearing, and reconciliation of customer payment transactions.
Define and execute test strategy including SIT, UAT, regression, negative testing, and failover scenarios.
Support go-live activities, hypercare, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Develop documentation, training materials, and perform knowledge transfer to client teams.
