About The Position

The Mundy Companies is seeking a skilled SAP Data Entry Clerk for a long-term position in the Freeport, Texas area. This role involves performing a variety of tasks, primarily focused on scanning and inputting high volumes of important information into our database. The ideal candidate will be familiar with common business software, possess excellent typing skills, and be able to work effectively under strict deadlines while maintaining organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High data entry experience or related office experience
  • Excellent knowledge in all Microsoft office programs
  • SAP program
  • Clear background and drug screening
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Familiarity with common business software’s such as SAP, vendor management and invoicing programs and Microsoft Office/Outlook.
  • Able to work on a strict deadline while maintaining organization standards.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware
  • Strong typing and proficient data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Able to multitask and work independently
  • Strong command of English both oral and written

Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize documents to ensure accuracy for both inbound and outbound.
  • Transferring high volume of data from paper formats into computer files or database systems while establishing entry priorities.
  • Process and resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures for resolution.
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered data by comparing it to source documents and purging files to eliminate duplications.
  • Research incomplete documents for month end close in accordance with accounting figures.
  • Secures information by completing data base backups and scans.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and accurate.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
