About The Position

A Reply is seeking an SAP Data Conversion Consultant to work under the leadership of the Lead Data Consultant. This role will execute the entire data conversion workflow in an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud implementation. The professional will be responsible for ensuring legacy data is identified, cleansed, mapped, loaded, validated, reconciled, and migrated through a controlled and repeatable process. Advanced or fluent English is a mandatory requirement due to frequent interaction with international teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Execute the entire data conversion cycle, from extraction planning and mapping to data loading, validation, reconciliation, and problem resolution.
Perform master and transactional data loads in SAP using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, ETL, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Inquire, or other approved migration tools.
Coordinate the design, testing, documentation, and repeatable execution of migration objects, templates, and loading procedures.
Monitor progress, risks, defects, dependencies, and readiness levels of all data objects and migration cycles.
Contribute to defining the data conversion strategy, scope, object list, migration cycles, loading approach, and readiness criteria for cutover.
Conduct data mapping workshops with functional teams in areas and objects related to: Finance, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain, and other relevant process areas.
Document source-to-target mapping, transformation rules, data owners, cleansing needs, validation approach, and approval requirements.
Coordinate with client IT teams, ERP, and legacy systems regarding extraction formats, data structures, mapping logic, and loading sequencing.
Support pre- and post-load validations, maintaining business owners as responsible for data quality, cleansing, and formal validation.
Coordinate activities with functional consultants, Basis teams, technical teams, integration teams, PMO, business data owners, client IT, and legacy system stakeholders.
Provide clear status reports, escalate risks and issues, manage dependencies, mitigation plans, and readiness updates to project leadership.
Align stakeholders on data ownership, validation responsibilities, approval criteria, sign-offs, and cutover decisions.
Ensure migration cycles are repeatable, controlled, and auditable, using automation where appropriate.
Execute data loads during cutover, coordinate final validations, and manage data-related problem resolution during the deployment window.
Confirm completion of master data, open transactional data, balances, and other conversion objects within scope.
Support final reconciliation and formal business approval before go-live.
Transfer knowledge related to data mapping, migration procedures, and load execution to the client's IT for future North American implementation waves.
Transfer this knowledge to the designated Reply team for future European implementations.
Support data stabilization post-go-live, defect triage, and additional knowledge transfer activities as needed.
