About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Commerce cloud- Junior developer to join our development team with 1-2 years of experience. This role is ideal for an early-career software professional who is passionate about building high-quality applications, learning modern software engineering practices, and contributing to a collaborative development environment. The successful candidate will work alongside senior engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on, real-world software development experience.
  • Experience developing applications with Java ; experience with the latest Java versions is preferred.
  • Experience with the Spring Framework ; familiarity with the latest Spring ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Java certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Developer) desired.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, or related Spring modules.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java and Spring technologies.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support application deployments and assist in production issue resolution.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development best practices.
