About The Position

The Technical Lead (TL) is a senior-level position within the Capgemini Front-End Development Team. This role serves as the Development Technical Team Leader on projects, supervising day-to-day activities of the development team (including back-end and front-end developers) and acting as the most senior applications engineer on the project. The TL ensures technical excellence, aligns business requirements with platform capabilities, and drives successful delivery of complex e-commerce solutions.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience in leading large-scale, complex e-commerce projects.
  • Deep knowledge of B2B and B2C e-commerce functionality and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) architecture and its technical capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of all SAP CX clouds and advanced understanding of their integration points with SAP Commerce Cloud.
  • Ability to estimate, plan, and map business requirements to technical solutions effectively.
  • Proven experience in supervising development teams and delivering enterprise-level e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage client expectations and guide technical teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern front-end technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage front-end development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions within SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and guide clients on optimal platform usage.
  • Oversee multiple large and complex projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, design, and integration strategies for SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internationalization and localization best practices for global e-commerce implementations.
  • Work closely with back-end teams and other SAP CX cloud solutions to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions or applications.
  • Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
  • He or she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.
  • His or her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
  • The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his or her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
  • The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
