About The Position

Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation and its associated framework, coaching others on BTP Test Automation technologies, and analyzing BTP Testing procedures. The engineer will develop and execute test plans, cases, and automation, identify and document bugs, and regularly revisit test cases and strategy to align with product updates. This role requires acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BTP services, collaborating closely with development and product teams, and operating from a third-party perspective with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Test Automation.
3+ years of experience in cloud platform testing.
5+ years of experience with Java or related programming languages.
5+ years of experience with test management systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Knowledge of software testing, programming languages, and quality assurance principles.
Must be a U.S. Citizen only (No Dual Citizenship).

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
3+ years of experience developing and/or operating multiple SAP BTP extensions and services from the technical side.
3+ years of experience using Playwright with Java.
1+ year of experience working with LLMs and building agents to integrate with development workflows.
Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment.
Experience operating in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with automated reporting.
Experience with ServiceNow, including building queries, automation flows, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a reusable approach to BTP Test Automation and the associated framework.
Coach and mentor others on the adoption of BTP Test Automation technologies and techniques.
Analyze and understand BTP Testing procedures and requirements.
Develop and execute BTP test plans, test cases, and automation, including manual testing when required.
Identify, document, and follow up on bugs and quality issues, utilizing logging, monitoring, and other tools to provide information upstream.
Regularly revisit BTP test cases and testing strategy to incorporate the latest product functionality based on rapid release plans for a multitude of products.
Report on and document BTP testing status and results.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the use and troubleshooting of BTP services.
Work closely with development and product teams to ensure solutions meet the highest standards of quality.
Operate from a third-party perspective, requiring excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams without creating friction.
Be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
