About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with a strong background in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in S/4HANA system administration, HANA database management, and SAP Business Objects administration. This role also requires experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for system integrations and extensive use of SAP HANA Cockpit for monitoring and administration. You will be responsible for maintaining the health, performance, and security of our SAP landscape.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise with S/4HANA system administration.
• Proven expertise with HANA database management.
• 3+ years of experience with SAP Business Objects administration.
• 2+ years working with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for system integrations.
• Extensive experience with SAP HANA Cockpit for monitoring and administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database management and performance tuning.
• Expertise in SAP system patching, upgrades, and kernel maintenance.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high-availability configurations.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and change management.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for SAP deployments.
• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/UNIX, Windows Server) supporting SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP security concepts, including user management and authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP Fiori administration and configuration.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP Basis).
• SAP Cloud Platform Integration certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP system migrations to cloud or hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management.
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and ABAP stack administration.
• Understanding of data archiving and storage optimization in SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Manage and monitor SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning.
• Perform SAP system patching, upgrades, and kernel maintenance.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and high-availability configurations.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and change management.
• Administer SAP Business Objects environments.
• Configure and manage SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for system integrations.
• Monitor and administer SAP HANA Cockpit.
• Manage SAP Fiori administration and configuration.
• Ensure SAP security concepts, including user management and authorization, are implemented and maintained.
• Support SAP system migrations to cloud or hybrid environments.
• Apply ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management.
• Provide on-call support and work outside regular hours for system maintenance and emergency support.
• Administer SAP NetWeaver and ABAP stack.
• Manage data archiving and storage optimization in SAP environments.
