About The Position

We have a Fulltime job opening for an SAP Basis professional with expertise in SAP RISE and SAP HANA. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite in Mansfield, MA, and 1 day remote per week. The client currently uses SAP ECC but requires experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, Private Edition. The role involves managing the overall SAP platform strategy, roadmap, and operations across various SAP components including ECC, S/4, BI, SAP HANA, and integration technologies. Candidates will also need to understand hyperscaler infrastructure and the shared responsibility model, and have experience leading SAP Basis/platform teams, including managing offshore or distributed delivery models. Deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration is crucial, covering system copies, client strategy, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring tools, backup/restore, and high availability/disaster recovery. Familiarity with SAP security and authorizations is also required.

Requirements

• 15+ years of SAP experience
• Strong background in SAP Basis and infrastructure
• Significant, hands-on experience with RISE with SAP and SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, Private Edition.
• Understanding of SAP’s roles and responsibilities, hyperscaler infrastructure, and shared responsibility model.
• Proven experience leading SAP Basis/platform teams, including managing offshore or distributed delivery models.
• Deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration: system copies, client strategy, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring tools, backup/restore, and high availability/disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP security and authorizations concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall SAP platform strategy, roadmap, and operations across ECC, S4, BI, SAP HANA, integration components, and related tools.
• Provide significant, hands-on experience with RISE with SAP and SAP S/4 HANA Cloud, Private Edition.
• Lead SAP Basis/platform teams, including managing offshore or distributed delivery models.
• Perform deep technical expertise in SAP Basis administration: system copies, client strategy, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring tools, backup/restore, and high availability/disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with security and audit teams on SAP security and authorizations concepts.
