About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Lead to oversee the administration, performance, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise SAP environments. The ideal candidate will lead SAP technology operations across complex landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, and HANA environments while collaborating with infrastructure, security, and functional teams to ensure high availability and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of SAP BASIS administration and SAP technology management experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP PI/PO.
  • Extensive experience with SAP HANA database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Experience managing SAP workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP upgrades, migrations, implementations, and landscape transformations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, authorizations, and GRC integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate certification in SAP BASIS, HANA, or S/4HANA Administration.
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies, automation tools, and SAP operational scripting.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service delivery frameworks.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Integration Suite.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SAP BASIS team and act as the primary technical expert for SAP infrastructure and technology operations.
  • Manage SAP landscapes including installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, refreshes, and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning while proactively resolving technical issues.
  • Support SAP implementation, S/4HANA migration, cloud transformation, and technical upgrade projects.
  • Define and enforce SAP technical governance, operational standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee backup strategies, disaster recovery processes, and high-availability configurations.
  • Collaborate with security teams on SAP user administration, authorizations, compliance, and GRC integration.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP technical issues.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and execute technical cutovers, go-live activities, and production support initiatives.
  • Provide leadership for critical incident management and 24x7 on-call support processes.
