About The Position

Seeking an experienced SAP Basis Lead Consultant for exciting projects, working remotely in Mexico. This is a senior-level position focused on SAP Basis, S/4HANA, cloud migrations, technical architecture, and leadership of complex SAP technology initiatives. The role involves leading SAP Basis solution discussions, automating routine processes, designing integrations, and leading OS, database, platform, and cloud migrations across multiple projects. The consultant will support full lifecycle SAP implementations, provide expertise across various SAP environments, and advise customers on SAP migrations and operations on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Responsibilities also include high-level SAP HANA database administration, installation and configuration of SAP solutions in cloud environments, performance tuning, SAP client administration, system upgrades, and managing non-HANA databases. The role requires designing and supporting cloud infrastructure architectures and SAP S/4HANA technical architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, as well as deploying SAP solutions on major cloud platforms. Support for Single Sign-On implementations and leading customer meetings are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

10+ years of experience specifically in SAP Basis.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC Basis.
At least one full lifecycle SAP implementation.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration and SAP HANA.
Experience with OS/DB/platform/cloud migrations, with at least 2–3 migration projects.
Experience with Azure or another major hyperscaler.
Experience with at least two non-HANA database technologies.
Strong knowledge of S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP integrations, and SAP cloud environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Advanced English and Spanish; bilingual communication is required.
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
Willingness and availability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP Basis solution discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
Automate routine SAP Basis processes to improve operational efficiency.
Design and develop integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Lead OS, database, platform, and cloud migrations across multiple projects.
Support full lifecycle SAP implementations using recognized methodologies.
Provide SAP Basis expertise across SAP Business Suite, NetWeaver, BOBJ, S/4HANA, and HANA environments.
Support S/4HANA, C/4, BW/4HANA conversions, upgrades, migrations, RISE, and OS/DB conversions.
Advise customers on SAP migrations, implementations, and operations across public and private cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Provide high-level SAP HANA database administration, including upgrades, performance management, backup and recovery, security, and operations.
Install and configure SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, PO, SAP CPI, Cloud Connector, Solution Manager, and Data Hub solutions in cloud IaaS environments.
Perform SAP performance tuning and optimization across S/4HANA, HANA databases, and cloud environments.
Administer SAP clients, including creation, copies, deletion, and export/import activities.
Participate in SAP system upgrades and provide technical support to architecture and development teams.
Manage non-HANA databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase, and MaxDB, with exposure to at least two database technologies.
Design and support cloud infrastructure architectures covering compute, storage, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
Develop SAP S/4HANA technical architectures and cloud hosting strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Design and deploy SAP solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Support Single Sign-On implementations across SAP landscapes, including HANA and BOBJ.
Lead customer meetings, present complex technical concepts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
