About The Position

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Senior SAP PP (Production Planning) MM (Material Management) Specialist in Kennesaw, GA. The Senior SAP Specialist will be versed in the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP PP and MM application processes and enhancements to meet end user needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Material Management)
  • Minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations of SAP (Production Planning) and MM (Material Management).
  • Proficiency in the integration points between SAP ECC PP/MM and other SAP modules such as APO PPDS and ECC WM/EWM.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with users at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Experience with detailed requirements gathering and strong business process design skills.
  • Significant experience with unit and integration testing along with post-production support.
  • Strong integration knowledge with SAP WM/EWM and SAP APO PPDS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for identifying & documenting business requirements, mapping them to SAP to design the future state solution.
  • Configuring and prototyping business solutions in SAP based on blueprint / business process definitions.
  • Developing a strong understanding of all system functions within the SAP PP/MM to effectively support and improve the on-going architecture.
  • Develop a master database to store metal content as per HTS code based on country of origin to support logistic compliance and reporting.
  • Build a pricing solution to maintain tariff level impact at SKU level. Automatically update material level landed costs for both sales and purchases.
  • Interface integration for data out of SAP to display in MES systems for interactive dashboards.
  • Assisting with executing testing activities in SAP such as, but not limited to, creating test cases and scripts, as well as executing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Planning, organizing, documenting, coordinating, and scheduling work in the development of assigned tasks.
  • Assisting with training activities and post implementation support
  • Communicating project/task design, schedules, and status to ISD Management, YMUS Business Partners, or other ISD teams and project members.
  • Staying abreast of current and future business policies, procedures, and workflows within the Business Unit that is supported.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
