SAP AI Leader (Joule BTP)
About The Position
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP AI Leader with deep technical competence and leadership skills to drive innovation and client value realization across SAP programs. This role will define the SAP LE wide vision and roadmap for SAP BTP, AI & Automation, aligning offerings with NTT DATA’s global SAP and Digital portfolios. The leader will partner with SAP, hyperscalers, and ecosystem vendors, engage in CxO-level conversations on AI-led SAP modernization and automation, and represent NTT DATA in executive forums and industry events. A key responsibility is to establish and govern the AI & Automation Center of Excellence (CoE), defining standards for architecture, delivery, security, and AI governance, while driving investment in accelerators and reusable assets. The role involves building and leading a multi-region team, defining workforce strategy, and promoting a culture of innovation, diversity, and engineering excellence. The leader will be responsible for AI-led SAP offerings, tools, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in modern solution development, architecture, and implementation of SAP Automation and AI projects or similar SAP Projects.
- Deep knowledge of SAP technologies: S/4HANA, SAP BTP, AI Core, AI Launchpad, Data Intelligence, Joule.
- Strong architectural design and system integration skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional team environments.
- Commitment to continuous learning in evolving AI and SAP technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define the SAP LE wide vision and roadmap for SAP BTP, AI & Automation
- Align SAP BTP, AI & Automation offerings with NTT DATA’s global SAP and Digital portfolios
- Partner with SAP, hyperscalers, and ecosystem vendors on joint go-to-market initiatives
- Engage and Lead CxO-level conversations on AI-led SAP modernization and automation value across strategic SAP accounts and transformation programs
- Represent NTT DATA in SAP executive forums, innovation councils, and industry events
- Establish and govern the AI & Automation Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Define standards for architecture, delivery, security, and AI governance
- Drive investment in accelerators, IP, and reusable assets
- Collaborate, Build, and lead a multi-region team
- Define workforce strategy, certification targets, and succession planning
- Promote innovation, diversity, and engineering excellence culture
- Be responsible for AI led SAP offerings, tools, and outcomes such as downstream business
