About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a SAP ABAP Technical Consultant Lead in Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid). The developer will implement application enhancements and projects as assigned, working in an agile environment or project organization. They will complete deliverables as a team member, collaborating with functional and technical consultants, IT customers, and management. The role involves ensuring quality outputs and timely delivery, potentially working on M&A projects following Siemens IT Project methodology. The primary environment is ECC HANA, working with cloud technologies. Projects can span any SAP module or integrate non-SAP applications. The developer must adhere to compliance and security guidelines and may sub-lead delivery in their technical area. Key responsibilities include understanding business goals, consulting on technical aspects, performing functional process analysis, contributing to planning and design, developing programs for ECC HANA modules, workflows, and interfaces, writing test scripts, conducting unit and integration testing, designing and documenting new ABAP, Mendix, or other cloud objects, supporting change-release processes, and following programming guidelines. The role typically reports to an IT Chapter Lead for HR topics and an agile team service owner or project manager for development topics. The developer is expected to adopt existing concepts, learn new ideas, and be comfortable working on assigned projects, agile teams, or individual change requests. They must follow security and compliance guidelines, answer audit questions, and take end-to-end responsibility from requirements gathering to post-implementation support, ensuring proper documentation and handover. Collaboration with colleagues from other areas is essential, and the role may involve leading the delivery of the development team or technical area if needed.

Responsibilities

Identify and understand business goals, objectives, and needs.
Consult on technical and program aspects with internal customers for process optimization and harmonization.
Perform functional process analysis to support programming requirements gathering and optimization.
Contribute to planning, budgeting, and design of programs for application solutions.
Plan and develop programs in alignment with architects and specifications for ECC HANA modules, workflows, interfaces, or WRICEF objects.
Facilitate testing.
Advise functional leads and architects on IT demand or requirement clarification issues.
Write test scripts and conduct unit and integration testing.
Prepare test data.
Coordinate relevant user acceptance and integration tests with the functional lead.
Design and document new ABAP, Mendix, or other cloud objects for IT applications.
Support change-release processes and implementation of IT security and programming guidelines.
Adopt existing concepts and methodologies, and continually learn and implement new ideas.
Work on assigned projects, in agile teams, or on individual change requests.
Follow security and compliance guidelines and answer audit relevant questions.
Take end-to-end responsibility from requirements gathering to delivery, documentation, and implementation of quality solutions.
Provide proper post-implementation support per Siemens guidelines.
Ensure documentation and handover of changes or enhancements to the application support team.
Collaborate with colleagues from other functional or technical areas.
Lead the coordination of delivery for the development team or technical area if needed.
