About The Position

This role is for experienced ABAP Developers to join their SAP Technology practice, supporting S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions for customers across Australia. It's ideal for consultants passionate about modern SAP development who enjoy a predominantly remote model with minimal travel during key project phases. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing cloud-compliant ABAP solutions, collaborating with functional consultants, architects, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with SAP best practices and DyFlex standards. The position is remote from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an ABAP Developer working on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations
• Hands-on experience with ABAP Cloud development concepts and tools
• Experience designing and developing solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Strong understanding of SAP clean core strategy and extensibility approaches
• Experience working in consulting or project-based delivery environments
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Australian or New Zealand working rights are required

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support ABAP solutions within S/4HANA Public Cloud environments
• Build and extend applications using ABAP Cloud and SAP-approved development frameworks
• Develop integrations, extensions and side-by-side applications using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure developments adhere to SAP clean core principles and cloud extensibility guidelines
• Participate in key project phases including design workshops, build, testing and go-live support
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
