About The Position

The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications across a broad range of functional areas. This position requires deep ABAP expertise, strong SAP architecture knowledge, and experience supporting both legacy ECC environments and modern SAP S/4HANA development initiatives. The ideal candidate combines hands-on development capabilities with the ability to provide technical guidance and direction for large-scale enterprise SAP programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong hands-on ABAP development expertise.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Deep understanding of SAP development concepts and architecture.
• Experience working across multiple SAP functional modules.
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership abilities.
• Experience collaborating with external implementation partners and development teams.
• Knowledge of SAP integration frameworks and data transfer processes.

Nice To Haves

• SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation experience.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development.
• Understanding of SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP development models.
• Experience providing technical direction for large SAP programs.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with clean code principles and SAP development standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications across ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor for SAP development initiatives.
• Guide development teams and establish best practices for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, SI and other vendors to deliver technical solutions.
• Support enterprise integrations and ensure data flows efficiently between SAP and connected systems.
• Participate in S/4HANA transformation activities and future deployment efforts.
• Provide technical oversight for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom development.
• Support RF/mobile solutions and enterprise integration projects.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple SAP modules.
• Contribute to technical solution design and architecture decisions.
