Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to industrial cleaning.
  • Certification in industrial cleaning or sanitation practices.
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and deep cleaning of manufacturing floors, machinery, tools, and workstations using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Follow established sanitation schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning activities to the relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and chemical usage to support quality control and regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in sanitation processes and implement best practices.
