About The Position

The Sanitor cleans, maintains, and sanitizes production tools, equipment, machinery, and areas around production lines. Work must be completed promptly according to schedule and prioritized as needed, including in emergency situations, while following safety regulations and maintaining GMP and quality standards. This position reports to a Sanitation Supervisor and is performed on-site in Macon, Missouri. The listed shift is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a $0.75 hourly shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background screen required.
• Post-offer drug screen required.
• Ability to work any shift or work week.
• Overtime availability based on company needs.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of manufacturing employment in work history is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Ensure necessary tools, equipment, cleaning supplies, and materials are available.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and check that equipment and safety devices are functioning properly.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collect and dispose of waste and other materials.
• Pull, scrape, shovel, and dump materials as needed.
• Use chemicals as required.
• Clean equipment and work areas, including using high-pressure water hoses.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Work any shift or work week as required; overtime availability is based on company needs.
