About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly 3rd Shift Sanitor Team Member! Position starts at $19.50 per hour. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing machinery and floors in a production line setting. The Sanitor is responsible for basic cleaning in and around their assigned area, setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies. They will monitor and maintain the sanitation and organization of assigned areas, operate heavy equipment, and stay aware of surroundings to notify a supervisor of any hazards. Other duties as needed or assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent certification
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
Strong desire to work hands-on work environment
Good attendance and safety records
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs on occasion with a partner
Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion
Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Responsibilities
