About The Position

MANE, a 5th generation French family-owned business, is a renowned innovator in the Flavor and Fragrance industry. Our passion, creativity, and innovation drive us to capture what moves. We are currently looking to hire a 2nd Shift Sanitizer for our Wayne, NJ manufacturing facility. Maintain cleanliness and/or sterilization of Production equipment, mix tanks and related items. Also responsible for general housekeeping in the Manufacturing and Warehouse Areas.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Requires at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing, stretching, walking, lifting and climbing ladders may be required
  • Mixing and measuring skills

Responsibilities

  • Following stringent procedures, clean and/or sanitize production equipment including funnels, hoses, pots, tanks, totes, drums, pails, using CIP process and equipment and manual cleaning in manufacturing and Packing areas
  • Ensure efficiency of cleaning equipment to allow for optimum efficient use of equipment, keeping with the production schedule
  • Report inventory of sanitizing supplies to supervisor
  • May operate floor scrubber
  • May properly prepare trash, cardboard, empty drums, pails, etc. for disposal and place in appropriate outdoor containers
  • Practice good housekeeping of workstation, tools and equipment.
  • Report missing or damaged tools and equipment to Team Lead, Supervisor or Maintenance
  • Operate in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined instructions, GMP and SOPs to meet specific quality standards.
  • Special tasks and projects as required in order to meet company objectives
