About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sanitization Technician for their 3rd shift operations. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and sterile manufacturing environment, ensuring that laboratories, equipment, and common areas are clean and disinfected. The technician will perform a variety of environmental service duties, operate computer-based systems for documentation and communication, and follow standard operating procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Reliable, hardworking team player.
  • Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, emails, and training.
  • Ability to pass a full physical including a respiratory certification, with annual monitoring, as well as a drug test to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or a clean room environment.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of environmental service duties to maintain and sterilize laboratories, equipment, warehouse, and offices.
  • Ensure all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected, and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse, and storage areas.
  • Stock and organize supplies for all required areas.
  • Operate Microsoft Applications (for charting, email, training, etc.) and other computer-based systems.
  • Follow standard procedures and execute activities independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Complete documentation in a regulated environment, such as completing logbooks, training, and communicating with other groups on equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.
