Position: First (1st) Shift Sanitation
Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $19.60 per hour

Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in and around company facilities

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program with the first 30 days of employment
• 0-6 months general warehouse experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including work areas, equipment, floors, docks, and common spaces, for the majority of the shift.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain warehouse equipment, storage areas, and materials to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Safely handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, MSDS, and company safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily inspections of cleaning tools and equipment; report any damage or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation.
• Assist with preparation for audits, inspections, and physical inventory activities as needed.
• Ensure proper waste removal and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
• safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders.
• Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or handheld computer.
• Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.
• Clean warehouse utilizing a variety of equipment and products.
• Remove all refuse from offices and building daily.
• Repair damaged pallets.
• Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
• Clean break room and work areas.
• Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.
