About The Position
We are currently hiring Sanitation Staff to join our overnight team at our busy bakery manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity to work behind the scenes, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced food production environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work overnight hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and be reliable
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and in wet/cold environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces according to company and food safety standards
- Follow strict sanitation procedures and safety guidelines (GMP, HACCP, etc.)
- Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly
- Reassemble equipment after cleaning, ensuring readiness for production
- Complete sanitation logs and documentation
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet nightly cleaning goals
