About The Position

This position is for a 3rd Shift Sanitation worker responsible for maintaining clean and orderly working areas in production departments of an industrial establishment. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing drains, floors, and various production equipment using chemicals and specialized equipment. It also includes transporting trash and waste, and sorting pallets at the end of the shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize drains and floors.
• Uses chemicals and equipment to sanitize and clean multiple areas.
• Disassembles, sanitizes, and cleans pipes, pumps and other production equipment.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• In certain areas, sorts and place leftover pallets in designated area at end of the shift.
