About The Position

Warehouse Sanitation Workers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining compliance to cleanliness and sanitation standards in an SQF certified facility. The successful candidate is thorough, task-oriented, dependable, and efficient.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to read and speak English
Able to work at high altitudes and with cleaning chemicals
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility
Ability to follow instructions, procedures and efficiently finish designated assignments
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

Clean and dust all areas of the warehouse as directed
Operate a power floor sweeper and scrubber to clean floors
Use a scissor lift to clean and dust ceiling and elevated areas
Gather trash and operate trash compactors and cardboard and plastic bailers to dispose of waste and process recycling
Safely use cleaning chemicals and prepare cleaning solutions to wash, disinfect and maintain various areas, equipment and fixtures in the warehouse
Safely operate equipment follow all safety requirements as expected for sanitation duties
Effectively use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required for various tasks
Work with team members and supervisors to ensure coordination of work
Perform additional job duties as required
