About The Position

Sanitation is vital to efficient and high-quality production. This position involves daily cleaning of RMC’s, cooker and cooker parts, fines savers, DMM and any other equipment or parts that may need cleaning. Always adheres to all USDA, GMP and safety regulations.

Requirements

Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
Must understand chemicals and chemical safety
Must be able to check chemical concentrations.
Must know how to stop and start all equipment that will be cleaned.
Must know how to disassemble and reassemble all equipment that will be cleaned.
Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including use of safety equipment.
Must be Forklift Certified
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous sanitation and machine operator experience.
Possess basic math and communication skills.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, and squat for several minutes at a time.
Must be able to stand on feet for at least a two hour consecutive time period
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to enter into confined spaces
Ability to reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
Employee is required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Work in a safe and sanitary manner
Follow and understand the “Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures”
Keep accurate and correct records
Clean the following equipment: RMC , cooker and cooker parts, fines savers, DMM and any other equipment or parts that may need cleaning
Animal feed accountability
Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
