Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment

Responsibilities

Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces
Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable
Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis
Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements
Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc.
Complete daily sanitation logs
Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment
Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties
Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues
Complies with all safety requirements
Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
