About The Position
The Sanitation Technician role involves preparing cleaning and sanitation chemicals, operating cleaning equipment on exterior equipment surfaces, and manually cleaning equipment parts. The technician will aseptically collect samples to validate sanitation procedures, sweep and wash floors, and clean and sanitize drains, pumps, hoses, and bottle and can warmers. This position also requires maintaining the cleaning chemical storage area and sanitation records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
- Clean-in-place (CIP) experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper safety and sanitation requirements.
- Possess understanding of production equipment so it can be properly cleaned and operated.
- Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate.
- Perform general maintenance.
