About The Position

Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas in a clean and orderly condition to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected.

Requirements

• Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time & ability to lift upwards of 30lbs
• Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and work independently
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Must be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• All successful candidates are required to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Cleaning equipment and production areas
• Assisting and guiding team members with sanitation tasks
• Ensuring cleaning meets quality and safety standards
• Following SOPs for chemical and equipment use
• Removing trash and recycling regularly
• Reporting supply needs to your supervisor
• Completing required cleaning documentation
