This role involves maintaining sanitation and food safety standards by cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, smokehouse and facility areas. You will use high-pressure hoses and approved cleaning chemicals to complete sanitation activities, and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures when preparing equipment for cleaning. The position also includes completing routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to established sanitation schedules, and completing required safety, quality, and food safety training. Accurate documentation of work activities and adherence to established procedures are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Manufacturing, sanitation, food production, or related work experience.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to work in wet, hot, cold, and noisy environments.

Responsibilities
