Sanitation Technician I - A/B & C Crew

About The Position

Follows standard operating procedures to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety and hygiene. May record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and or other non-routine issues.

Requirements

Must be capable of being productive on across all shifts including weekends.
Regularly required to stand.
Occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch.
May require ascending or descending stairs in multi-level facilities.
May occasionally move up to 50-75 pounds with a hoist, pallet-jack or cart.
Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
Trained and certified to use a scissor lift to perform cleaning tasks at heights of up to 20 feet above the plant floor.
Trained and certified to perform Lock Out/Tag Out protocols on production equipment.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are critical skills.
Able to communicate and take direction from the Sanitation Group Lead and/or the Sanitation Supervisor.
Candidate must ensure they are legally authorized to work in the location to which they apply.

Responsibilities

Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
Wet washes rooms and production lines.
Completes required reporting to reflect activity.
Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
