Responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to Lock-out/Tag-out every piece of equipment utilized by sanitation operators (Machine specific LOTO).
Properly use PPE (including food safety items) at all times.
Maintain current forklift license & aerial lift license.
Identify Control Points and Critical Control Points.
Understand Chemical control plan and when/how to identify and handle chemicals.
Follow guidelines for Sanitation, and Foreign Material Prevention.
Recognize and take appropriate corrective action for “out of specification” issues.
Perform assigned Quality checks.
Perform Master Sanitation tasks as directed.
Maintain 5S guidelines.
Use Centerlines and centerline documentation.
Perform Clean, Inspect, Lubricate standards.
Find and fix defects and record on defect handling sheet.
Use DMO to tag downtime.
Perform set-up/start-up and shutdown procedures.
Train other operators to perform Sanitation duties.
Communicate with previous shift and next shift operators to ensure smooth continuation of operations (Hand-off).
