About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Sanitation Team Member for the 3rd shift. This full-time hourly position involves cleaning and sanitizing machinery and floors in a production line setting. The role requires hands-on work at high speeds, including lifting over 50 pounds, and maintaining awareness of surroundings to identify and report hazards. The team member will be responsible for basic cleaning, stocking and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, and ensuring sanitation and organization of assigned areas. This position is based in Worthington, MN.

Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs on occasion
Ability to walk up 4 – 8 hours’ daily
Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion
Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively
Strong desire to work hands-on work environment
Good attendance and safety records
Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
Operate heavy equipment
Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
Performs other duties as needed or as assigned
