A Sanitation Supervisor enforces the policies and procedures surrounding food safety and hygiene. This role examines all manufacturing equipment to ensure it functions properly and meets all governmental standards, developing plans to correct any violations. The supervisor consults with management on compliance issues and process improvements, maintaining relationships with chemical and pest control vendors. This individual develops and delivers training programs on sanitation practices and company best practices. They maintain detailed records of sanitation activities and issues, ensuring all Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Cost expectations are met. The Sanitation Supervisor drives sustainable improvements across the shift, working closely with plant leadership and employees, and requires hands-on leadership.
