About The Position

This role involves the supervision of the clean-up and sanitation of the plant at the end of production. The Production Manager serves as a backup for this position. Key responsibilities include documenting cleaning activities, ordering chemicals and janitorial supplies, writing and updating cleaning procedures for production lines, and managing the pest control program and vendor relations.

Requirements

• 4 year degree in Food Science, Management/Supervision, or equivalent
• 2-4 years’ experience in Sanitation &/or Supervision – food industry preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, equipment operation, & chemicals
• Computer proficient – MS Office
• Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal
• Problem solver
• Able to make quick, but accurate decisions
• Good leadership qualities
• Self-Starter
• Proactive
• Able to work well with others
• Able to walk and stand on concrete floors for long periods of time
• Moderate lifting and climbing
• Able to work flexible work hours

• Certified PCO, preferred
