About The Position

This role is responsible for cleaning and disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly. It may include general sanitation of plant work areas, production tools, and mixing equipment in the Steam Room. The position is for the day shift, working Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 am to 3 pm. Requirements

Must have obtained a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to grip/grasp pressure cleaning hoses.
Ability to maneuver equipment to the cleaning room.
Ability to stand/walk during all four-hour shifts.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities

Disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly.
General sanitation of plant work areas.
Washing tools and equipment brought from food production lines to the Steam Rooms.
Cleaning equipment during shift changeovers.
Performing general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, and operating auto floor scrubbers.
Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, and lockout tag out procedures.
Passing all required training for the position within 3 months of hire date.
Complying with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.
