About The Position

The Soybean Processing Plant is seeking a Sanitation Specialist to join their team. This hands-on role involves cleaning various areas of the plant, both inside and outside, including grain receiving, storage bins, oil loading, preparation, extraction, and refinery. Sanitation Specialists will also be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks to support the overall operation of the plant and are responsible for food safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Ability to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
Availability to work overtime and weekends
Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
Ability to work at heights
Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
Ability to ascend/descend ladders
Required to wear PPE

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Responsibilities

Assisting with routine facility maintenance
