About The Position

As a Sanitation Technician I, you will play an important role in preparing equipment and production areas for daily operations in a food production facility. Using approved cleaning methods, tools, and chemicals, you will help uphold food safety requirements, product quality standards, and operational readiness.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to understand and follow safety, food safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment in a safe manner.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and sanitation chemicals.
Experience disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment.
Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing areas, and facility spaces according to established procedures and schedules.
Operate sanitation tools and equipment, including hot water and high-pressure cleaning systems, to maintain sanitary conditions.
Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to established handling and storage procedures.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to support production readiness and sanitation standards.
Complete sanitation records and report food safety, equipment, or workplace safety concerns to the appropriate team members.
Perform job duties in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
Follow all food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance and product integrity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
