About The Position

Indiana Packers is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team to fulfill our Sanitation Peak Season 3rd Shift positions. As a Sanitation team member, you will clean and scour equipment to comply with all food safety requirements. This factory position is needed for 8 to 10 hours a day, including some Saturdays. Third shift hours are from 10:00pm - 7:00am.

Requirements

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available to work from August 2026 - February 2027.
• Ability to work in a cold, humid, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be able to reach high and low levels frequently
• Must be able to grip with wrist
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
• Scour equipment with chemical as needed
• Cleaning of pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
