Sanitation Parts Washer - Forsyth, MO
About The Position
The Sanitation Parts Washer provides assistance and support to the Encapsulation and Blending departments by keeping machine parts clean and organized. The role involves inspecting, cleaning, and sanitizing parts; maintaining their organization and readiness for clean-room use; replenishing chemicals; and supporting Sanitation as needed. Other duties may be assigned. This is a second-shift position in Forsyth, Missouri, scheduled from 2:45 p.m. to 1:15 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays. The work environment is moderately noisy. ADM requires successful completion of a background check.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable situations.
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammed, or scheduled instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail; ability to follow directions.
- Good communication skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect machine parts.
- Clean and sanitize machine parts, barrel lids, and rings.
- Organize machine parts in the Parts Closet/Clean Parts Room and the Cleaning/Wash Room.
- Stage the next-size parts on a clean cart for the next clean room.
- Replenish chemicals for metered pumps and the dishwasher.
- Support Sanitation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
