About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Sanitation Operator PR05 in Enid, OK. The role is responsible for operating and disassembling equipment such as blenders, cookers, fryers, mixers, and packing machines, as well as any other assigned equipment for cleaning and sanitizing work areas. The operator will also be responsible for setting up equipment for inspection at start-up, adhering to food safety practices, and company policies. The position starts at $19.90/HR with a .85 shift differential.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to operate production machine equipment such as Blenders, Cookers, Fryers, Mixers, and Packing Machines and/or other equipment as assigned.
Must be willing and able to inspect and monitor product.
Must be willing and able to disassemble equipment for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up.
Must be willing and able to disassemble equipment for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up.
Must be willing and able to breakdown and set-up equipment when needed.
Must be willing and able to clean assigned equipment in safe and accurate manner using high pressure hoses.
Must be willing and able to use chemical cleaners to foam and clean all areas of production.
Must be willing and able to examine common machine parts and components for excessive wear.
Must be willing and able to prepare equipment and machines for reassemble after completion of cleaning.
Must be willing and able to ensure that all guards removed are properly replaced after cleaning.
Must be willing and able to follow all necessary procedures to meet USDA and Quality Control Regulations.
Must be willing and able to communicate/coordinate with other departments to ensure optimum, efficient utilization of non-running time to properly maintain company's equipment.
Must be willing and able to properly wear personal protective equipment as required and provided by the company and in accordance with GMP's/company standards.
Must be willing and able to ensure safe and proper use of tools and equipment; ensures hand tools are free of defects.
Must be willing and able to maintain neat and orderly work area, including proper storage/disposal of solvents, paints, and other cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies and company policy.
Must be willing and able to position will require Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities for safe operation.
Must be willing and able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
Must be willing and able to perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
Must be willing and able to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly or more if required.
Must be willing and able to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Must be willing and able to work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-100 degrees.
Must be willing and able to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling.
Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and/or stairs.
Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification, Fall Protection, and Confined Space Training.
Must be willing and able to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate and disassemble equipment such as blenders, cookers, fryers, mixers, and packing machines for cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
Set up equipment for inspection at start-up.
Adhere to food safety practices and company policies.
Inspect and monitor product.
Disassemble equipment for cleaning and set up equipment for inspection and start-up.
Break down and set up equipment when needed.
Clean assigned equipment in a safe and accurate manner using high-pressure hoses.
Use chemical cleaners to foam and clean all areas of production.

Prepare equipment and machines for reassembly after cleaning.
