The Sanitation Operator position is responsible for operating and disassembling equipment such as blenders, cookers, fryers, mixers, and packing machines and any other equipment as assigned for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection at start-up, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This role requires adherence to USDA and Quality Control Regulations, communication with other departments, and proper use of personal protective equipment. The position also involves maintaining a neat work area, proper disposal of chemicals, and Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification is also required.
