POSITION SUMMARY: The Sanitation Manager is responsible for leading and executing all sanitation programs to ensure the facility consistently meets and exceeds food safety, regulatory, and customer standards. This role owns the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of sanitation systems, including SSOP’s, master sanitation scheduling (MSS), and sanitation validation processes. The Sanitation Manager driver compliance with all applicable food safety regulations, SQF standards, and internal quality requirements, while always ensuring audit readiness. This position plays a critical role in protecting product integrity, minimizing contamination risks, and supporting overall plant performance. This leader is responsible for building a high-performing sanitation team through training, standardization, and accountability, while fostering a culture of ownership, urgency, and food safety excellence across all shifts.
