About The Position

Under the direction of the QA Coordinator, the Sanitation Lead will be accountable for accomplishing food safety hygiene and sanitation standards (Internal and external). Responsible for the Sanitation Technicians crew.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basics Windows and SAP
  • Special knowledge expertise with GMP’S HACCP, Quality Systems, Standard Operating Procedures,
  • Must be able to work in all areas of the factory as well as office environment and laboratory.
  • Some exposure in a high noise environment, occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Computer Skills (Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SAP, VMware)
  • Works well in a team as well as independently
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Detail & results oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Sanitation personnel under his responsibility
  • Manage and Resolve any labor needs or incidents with HR. Document and file any situation.
  • Identify any training needs for sanitation personnel. Validate and document any training.
  • Participate on Personnel development plans for his crew
  • Update and generate, if applicable, Sanitation Standards Operations Procedures
  • Plan and schedule Sanitation Master Plan
  • Verify and validate functions according with the work schedule
  • Manage and control of sanitation chemicals. Inventory, purchasing and find new suppliers (Supporting by QA Manager)
  • Recycling, trash, pig feed areas and materials
  • Monitoring glass, sharps and brittle policy
  • Coordinate and verify Pest Control Supplier
  • Participate in QMS, BRC and customer audits and implement any improvement found
  • Follow up and document any CAR, FSIR found in its department
  • Coordinate with production on any emergency
  • Participate in Shift turn over meetings
  • Assist with new employee orientation and training
  • Back up for EMP sampling and Finish items sampling, measurement and shipping to external lab
  • Committed to providing a safe food product.
  • Works within all regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety and food defense requirements.
