About The Position
Follows procedures and SSOPs to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. May record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and or other non-routine issues.
Requirements
- Must have Industrial Food Sanitation Experience
- Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling.
- English Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, document issues, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Must have some Microsoft Office skills.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish is a plus.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- at least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
- Supervisory skills are desired.
Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
- Completes activities and verification for cleans and programs including MSS, PEM, and Non-PEM.
- Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
- Familiarity and understanding of testing for chemical concentrations.
- Familiarity with chemicals and their purpose and uses.
- Familiarity with COP and CIP systems.
- Aerial lift operation.
