About The Position

Join our sanitation team and help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality across our poultry processing operations. In this essential hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, production areas, and facilities to meet strict USDA, food safety, and company sanitation requirements. You’ll use cleaning tools and chemicals, follow detailed sanitation procedures, and help maintain a safe, organized environment for all team members. This is a fast-paced position where reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are critical. Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Verification of employment eligibility must be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.

  • Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
  • Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals while following all PPE and safety requirements.
  • Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation to ensure proper cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.
  • Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris, rinsing surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of tools and chemicals.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a positive, safety-focused environment.
  • Follow detailed sanitation procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
  • Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness and meet operational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
